Outings and Events Highlights We have an exciting slate of outings and events planned this summer! This month, we’ll take a bike tour through the National Elk Refuge near Jackson, talk climate action in Casper, and take a stand with communities across the country in response to the increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption of the Trump administration. Can’t make one of these events? Visit our website to check out the rest of our outings calendar! June 7 | Bike Ride in the National Elk Refuge (Jackson) | Register Here Leader: Kelsey Yarzab Yates, kelsey.yarzabyates@sierraclub.org or (908) 229-6124 Join Sierra Club Wyoming for a leisurely bike ride along the National Elk Refuge road. Upon our return to town, follow us to May Park and enjoy a picnic lunch with Sierra Club organizers and Wyoming Wildlife Advocates. A limited number of complimentary bike rentals are available through Teton Mountain Bike Tours. Please contact Kelsey Yarzab Yates to confirm availability. June 14 |“No Kings” events in Wyoming All across the country the Sierra Club is standing in solidarity with our communities, and we hope you'll join us. "No Kings" is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to the increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption of the Trump administration. Nearly 1,000 events will take place in multiple cities across the country, many right here in Wyoming* (map here). As the Trump administration steamrolls over our National Parks and public lands, attempts to destroy clean energy and climate action, and sell off precious ecosystems to the highest bidder, we must come out in force to reject this growing oligarchy. Find a “No Kings” event near you *Note: These events are not being hosted by the Sierra Club directly. We encourage you to reach out to event organizers via the link above for more information. June 28 |Casper Climate Meetup | Register here Are you interested in protecting Casper's public lands, air and water? Looking to connect with community members and explore public land on Casper Mountain? Join us for a hike and community picnic!
We'll take a group hike on the Eadsville trail followed by a picnic lunch provided by Sierra Club. We'll discuss issues we care about relating to conservation and the environment and work as community members to brainstorm ways to take action to protect our public lands. Exact meeting location/carpool info will be shared with participants prior to the event! Reach out to Emma Jones at emma.jones@sierraclub.org for more details. . |
