Frack Free Friday Promo PicEvery Friday is Frack Free Friday!  On November 18th, hundreds of Marylanders shared photos on social media to call for a ban on fracking.  So we've decided to keep it going every Friday.

How do I participate?

It's easy!  First, sign up today so we can keep you updated as the event approaches.

1. Take a picture.

This can be of you, your family, friends, home, or an important space in your community like a park. Include a sign or message about banning fracking. You can make it yourself or print out the Don't Frack Maryland Logo. Anything related to banning fracking works!

2. CONNECT WITH YOUR LEGISLATOR'S SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS!

One goal of Frack Free Friday is to make our legislators hear our voices. To amplify your voice, we encourage you to connect with your legislators on social media in advance.

That way, when you tag them on November 18th, it will have more impact.

Look up your Maryland Legislators Social Media Account

If you don’t know your legislators, you can look them up here. can search by address here.

We are specifically trying to target the Delegates and Senators of the General Assembly. If your legislator doesn’t have an account on the social media platform you are using, feel free to tag Governor Hogan!

3. Tell your friends

Join and share our event on Facebook. Or upload your photo in advance with a link to frackfreefriday.com

ON Friday

1. Upload your photo to every social media plantform you can

2. In the caption, tag your legislator and add #FrackFreeFriday and if there is room #Not1Well & #DontFrackMD
