The Maryland Sierra Club Youth Leadership Council is a group of high school students who gain leadership opportunities in forming and running their own club as well as working with the Sierra Club! These students are helping to lead the change for environmental issues.
In meetings, they discuss projects, current environmental goals and legislation, and talk to guest speakers. They meet with Maryland environmentalists to explore potential career paths and to learn more about what is being done to help with environmental issues in their own state and communities. In our upcoming legislative session, they will be leading letter writing campaigns to get everyone to Act Like An Ancestor and start change now!

¡El Sierra Club Youth Leadership Council es un grupo de estudiantes en la escuela secundaria que ganan oportunidades de liderazgo formando y dirigiendo su propio club y también trabajando con el Sierra Club! Estos estudiantes están ayudando a dirigir el cambio para problemas ambientales.
