Free Admission to National Parks in 2026

Consider the special days when admission is free to our National Parks when planning your next vacation to America’s greatest idea. The Trump administration announced that parks will offer free admission to U.S. residents only on these 8 holidays:

  • February 16: President’s Day
  • May 25: Memorial Day
  • June 14: President Trumps’s Birthday and Flag Day
  • July 3 – 5: Independence Day
  • August 25: 110th Birthday of the National Park Service
  • September 17: Constitution Day
  • October 27: Theodore Roosevelt’s Birthday
  • November 11: Veteran’s Day

Martin Luther King Jr Day (January 19) and Juneteenth (June 19) have been eliminated. Non-US Residents (16 and over) must pay an additional $100 per person fee over and above the park entrance fee unless admitted with an Annual or American the Beautiful Pass.
