Advancement and Operations Program Manager (she/her)
Geraldine Alava oversees the operational infrastructure that supports fundraising, donor engagement, grants management, financial coordination, CRM operations, and office administration. She specializes in creating efficient processes, maintaing data integrity, strengthening donor stewardship, and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams to advance the Sierra Club California's strategic goals.
Geraldine holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration and brings extensive experience in accounting and business development, having worked with companies in the Philippines and Singapore before joining Sierra Club California in June 2014. In 2020, she also completed the Fundraising and Development Professional Concentration Program at UC Davis, further strengthening her expertise in nonprofit fundraising and donor engagement.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and camping, reflecting her appreciation for the outdoors and the natural environments Sierra Club California works to protect.
