Associate Organizer (he/him)
Jakob joined Sierra Club California in March 2023 as a Policy Intern. In November 2023, he joined our staff full-time as an Associate Organizer, working to engage volunteers and build coalitions for water issues in the Bay Area. Previously, Jakob advocated for utility-scale offshore wind development at Brightline Defense Project in San Francisco. He received a B.A. in Political Science and a B.S. in Environmental Studies from UC Berkeley. Jakob spends much of his free time reading, singing along to Lady Gaga in the shower, and taking lots of photos of his cat, Helen.
