Exciting Opportunity on the North Branch Watershed Workgroup!

Flowers by Chris Johnson

Do you have a passion for water quality and a concern about water pollution?

If so, there’s a great opportunity right here in Lake County. Woods & Wetlands is looking for a member to serve as an Alternate on the Monitoring Committee of the North Branch Watershed Workgroup. This important Workgroup helps develop policy for cleaning up pollution in the North Branch of the Chicago River. The Monitoring Committee meets monthly at 12:30 P.M. for one hour at the Deerfield Village Town Hall. Currently, the Committee is monitoring progress on reducing phosphorous in the North Branch. If interested, please email Chris Johnson. It’s important work!
