We want to share a couple exciting clean energy stories that are happening here in Lake County. Last month the Gurnee Village Board approved a large solar installation for the Great America parking lot. 

Thanks to funding from the Inflation Reduction Act, our kids can breath easier. Funding for 10 electric school buses has been provided for Zion-Benton D126, 4 for Lincolnshire D103, and 3 for Highland Park D113. Even though environmental prospects at the federal level may be less than ideal, much can be done at the local level.
