Volunteer Needed for North Branch Watershed Workgroup!

Chicago River North Branch

The Illinois Sierra Club Woods & Wetlands Group is looking for a volunteer to serve as an Alternate on the Monitoring Committee of the North Branch Watershed Workgroup. This important Workgroup helps develop policy for cleaning up pollution in the North Branch of the Chicago River. The Monitoring Committee meets monthly at 12:30 P.M. for one hour at the Deerfield Village Town Hall. Currently, the Committee is monitoring progress on reducing nutrient pollution in the North Branch. If interested, contact Chris Johnson at cjohnsonconsulting@comcast.net or 847/502-4811.
