We are looking for passionate individuals to lead woodland hikes, scenic bicycle rides, and paddling trips (canoe and kayak). You don't need to be an expert naturalist to make a difference; you just need a love for the outdoors and a desire to share it with others. As a leader, you will:
- Inspire Stewardship: Help others fall in love with nature, because we protect what we love.
- Build Community: Create a welcoming space for nature enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds.
- Share Your Favorite Spots: Introduce others to the trails and waterways you know and cherish.
Training & Support Provided
If you're worried about the logistics, don't be! We provide comprehensive training and support to help you become a certified Sierra Club Outings Leader. You’ll learn everything from group safety and navigation to environmental ethics (Leave No Trace), ensuring you feel confident and prepared before you lead your first group.
How to Get Involved
Whether you are an experienced trekker or a casual weekend explorer, your contribution can help revitalize our local environmental community.
