Donors like you help keep the Sierra Club Michigan Chapter strong and successful. Year-end support is critical in the fight to protect and preserve the Great Lakes State.
There are many ways to support the work of Sierra Club in Michigan and donations now will ensure that the staff and volunteers working for Michigan’s future can plan and prepare for the important work next year.
- Give by check or credit card. Support our year-end fundraising campaign with your check made payable to 'Sierra Club Michigan,' or take a moment to give by credit card online here.
If you have not yet received our appeal in the mail, send your check to the Sierra Club, 109 East Cesar E. Chavez Ave, Lansing, MI 48906. Checks must be made payable to 'Sierra Club Michigan' to ensure 100% of your gift stays in Michigan.
Your gift supports the Michigan Sierra Club’s effective, citizen-based advocacy efforts. Donations to support citizen engagement work including citizen Lobby Days at the Capitol and in-district legislative work are not tax-deductible but are vital to Sierra Club's success.
- Make a tax-deductible gift to the Sierra Club Foundation to help support the Michigan Chapter’s educational and administrative policy work, including litigation, forest biodiversity, water quality protection and energy. Donate to the Sierra Club Michigan Chapter online today or send your check made payable to 'The Sierra Club Foundation', and be sure to write ‘Michigan Chapter’ in the memo section of the check. - There's still time to make a Charitable IRA Rollover. For individuals 70 1/2 years or older, this can be done without incurring tax penalties and can be transferred to the Michigan Chapter via the Sierra Club Foundation. Checks made through your IRA Administrator must be made payable to ‘The Sierra Club Foundation’ with a note in the memo section for the ‘Michigan Chapter. - Make a gift of stock. Donating stock to the Sierra Club Michigan Chapter can be made through the Sierra Club Foundation in three easy steps.
