Free Training Opportunities!
Want to take meaningful action to protect Michigan’s environment from hyper-scale data centers? Sierra Club Michigan is offering free training on how to host a data center postcard party. You’ll learn what a postcard party is and how they can make a big impact while strengthening communities as our Political and Legislative Organizer Marta Johnson walks you through the five step planning process. We are offering two, thirty-minute training sessions in August.

Host a Data Center Postcard Party! July 15 - September 12
Bring your friends together. Write postcards. Help protect Michigan! Hyper-scale data center proposals are popping up fast across Michigan. We need a moratorium now while we work on strong safeguards to protect our natural resources and residents from skyrocketing utility bills. But this won't happen until we start organizing more on statewide solutions now. That's why we're launching a summer of action on data centers starting with post card parties. But we need your help to make this happen!

Volunteer Leaders Hub
The Volunteer Leader Hub is for current volunteer leaders only (elected, appointed, issue leads) and contains resources such as group/chapter governance requirements, campaign toolkits, issue based FAQs, and other organizing materials.
Volunteer access to these materials varies based on a volunteer's assigned leadership role in the organization. Volunteers will need to request access to this hub by contacting the Volunteer Engagement Coordinator at volunteer@michigan.sierraclub.org
