We're currently seeking volunteers to help with the following:

  • May 1st-3rd: Join community members for the Duck Lake Park Clean Up
  • May 2nd: Sierra Club Water Sentinels, "A Drop Of Justice: Water Affordability Summit"
    • The Grassroots Network Water Sentinels Team Water Affordability Subteam is holding a Water Affordability Summit on Saturday, May 2nd, and they're streaming it on Facebook, so anyone can attend virtually.
  • URGENT! Now-May 13th. Protect our environment from corporate polluters: Time is running out to get Money Out Of Politics! Fill out this form here, and MMOP will mail you a petition and instructions on how to sign and return your petition. 

  • May 13th: Be A Citizen Lobbyist: Meet with your lawmakers and urge them to support strong environmental guardrails for large-scale data center development. Sign up here!

Volunteer Leaders Hub

The Volunteer Leader Hub is for current volunteer leaders only (elected, appointed, issue leads) and contains resources such as group/chapter governance requirements, campaign toolkits, issue based FAQs, and other organizing materials. 

Volunteer access to these materials varies based on a volunteer's assigned leadership role in the organization. Volunteers will need to request access to this hub by contacting the Volunteer Engagement Coordinator at volunteer@michigan.sierraclub.org
