3/30/24: Bull Hill Hike with TYWLS of the Bronx. As planned, we all met at 125th Metro-North Station at 9:30 AM on March 30, 2024.

3/16/24: Democracy Prep started the day meeting at the Nature Center, where students learned about the animals in Van Cortlandt park and were able to touch a stick bug!

2/29/24 Ice-skating followed by a visit to the zoo was a great combination of fun and relaxation. Students loved observing the wildlife that was native to the Bear Mountain area.

2/4/24: Students from MS 167 went ice-skating at Bear Mountain. Following a session on the ice, they went on a ride on the merry-go-round. It was a fun-filled day with a blend of excitement and leisure.

2/16/24: This is the first trip we have executed with PS 100 where we took 10 students from grades 4 and 5 to ice skate and hike around the lake. It was everyone's first-time ice skating except for one.

Trip to catch up on! 1/27/24: "Let's conquer the fear of height first and then challenge ourselves with the new thing (ice-skating)'" That's how we started our journey to Bear Mountain.

1/11/24.. Lots of great trips to catch up on! Students went ice-skating at Bear Mountain on January 11th. Following a session on the ice, they took a leisurely stroll around the lake.
