No More Empty Pots is a North Omaha based nonprofit focused on improving food security, and developing sustainable local food systems. The organization supports local food producers with a Community Harvest food program, offers a culinary training program, and supports community gardens and community nutrition initiatives.
The new greenhouse space will allow No More Empty Pots to greatly increase their food production capacity. The greenhouse features traditional growing in soil, as well as hydroponic units using vertical growing space. We’ll get a tour of the new facility, and learn about the NMEP programs and food security initiatives. Join us!
