SABINE PASS, Texas – Early Tuesday morning three construction workers died and one others was injured in a tragic accident at the Port Arthur LNG site in Sabine Pass, owned by Sempra and ConocoPhillips.

In response, John Beard, CEO of the Port Arthur Community Action Network (PACAN), released the following statement:

"This loss of life is tragic. Sempra and its contractors, along with the City of Port Arthur's Emergency Management team, must be held fully accountable, and engage in a fully transparent, ‘root cause’ analysis to address the cause and implement systems-wide solutions to prevent such incidents in the future."
