WASHINGTON, DC - Tomorrow, Donald Trump is expected to sign an executive order to begin the process of repealing several Obama-era actions tackling the climate crisis and protecting clean air and water, including steps to begin the process of dismantling the Clean Power Plan, roll back Oil and Gas New Source Performance Standards, rescind NEPA guidance that directs agencies to account for the climate crisis, and end efforts to reform the broken federal coal leasing program.
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Donald Trump signed a Congressional Review Act resolution today scrapping the Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces executive order, which would have ensured that all contractors comply with workplace laws - including health and safety standards, wage laws, and civil rights laws before they receive new contracts.
Clean energy jobs, including those from solar, wind, energy efficiency, smart grid technology and battery storage, vastly outnumber all fossil fuel jobs nationwide from the coal, oil and gas sectors. That includes jobs in power generation, mining, and other forms of fossil fuel extraction.
RIVERSIDE-- Today the California Air Resources Board adopted a resolution reaffirming its commitment to the state's zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) rule.
The rule requires automakers to manufacture and sell battery-electric and other cars and light-duty trucks that have zero tailpipe emissions.

Washington, DC -- Today, Donald Trump reversed President Barack Obama’s decision rejecting the Keystone XL pipeline, granting TransCanada the federal cross-border permit required to construct the tar sands project into the U.S. The announcement is merely one step in the process required for construction to begin; additional state-level approvals are still required in Nebraska, where the pipeline would cross, and from other federal agencies such as the Army Corps of Engineers.

The pipeline would clear cut its way through ten Pennsylvania counties, impacting hundreds of acres of forested land and crossing dozens of wetlands and water bodies.
