Many organizations share interests and concerns about the environment that are shared by members of the Harvey Broome. Often these organizations hold events that are of interest to our members.

We offer this list as a way for us to be involved in our communities.*

Corona Cleanup and Glass Recycling 2026

Keep Knoxville Beautiful is partnering with Corona for a litter cleanup and glass recycling event!

It will be on Wednesday, June 10th from 4pm-6pm at Barley’s Taproom and Pizzeria. Attendees will have the opportunity to bring glass that they would like to recycle and pick up trash from the surrounding roads. The event is drop in, so come anytime from 4pm-6pm to drop off glass or pick up trash!

Spruce Up 2026

Keep Knoxville Beautiful's June Saturday Spruce Up will be on June 13th from 10am-12pm. We will be removing graffiti from a building in the Old City. 

We highly recommend wearing long pants, and all volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes for the event. Additionally, we recommend bringing your own water.

Tree Walk and Tree Care 101 Workshop

Trees Knoxville is hosting a Young Tree Care Workshop designed to help community members learn the fundamentals of caring for newly planted trees. Participants will gain hands-on experience in proper staking, mulching, watering, and pruning techniques for young 3- and 5-gallon trees. This is a great introductory tree care class, and everyone is invited.
