Amy Brecount White

Amy Brecount White loves to explore both physically and intellectually. Whether she’s observing turtle conservation experts on an uninhabited island off Bonaire or hiking through an ancient temperate inland rainforest in British Columbia, she brings a sustainability focus to her writing. Her writing has been featured in National Geographic, Smithsonian magazine, National Parks Traveler, Fodors, Virtuoso, Sierra magazine, AAA publications, and AARP. She’s an active Arlington Regional Master Naturalist, a National Park Service volunteer, and the park steward of a local public park.
