TEXANS TO CONFRONT LAWMAKERS OVER HIGH ELECTRIC BILLS AND GRID FAILURES:
CAPITOL PRESS CONFERENCE FEATURES OVER 60 GROUPS CALLING FOR LOWER BILLS AND A CLEAN, RELIABLE GRID
AUSTIN, TX - On Wednesday, April 9, Texans will gather at the State Capitol to demand lower energy bills and a clean, reliable grid. Over 60 organizations have signed a public letter calling on lawmakers to take urgent action on affordability, reliability, and accountability in the state’s energy system.
Speakers will include community members, organizational leaders, and advocates. The event will be followed by a literature drop, where constituents hand-deliver the signed demands to legislators.
