Sierra Club groups are local affiliates of the Virginia State Chapter. Groups offer a wide variety of opportunities to explore, enjoy and protect our environment with local and regional focus. Ten groups hold regular meetings, participate in advocacy to protect local natural resources, and sponsor outings that include backpacking, hiking, caving, bicycling, and service opportunities.
