Alishia Topper and Monica Stonier receive a dual endorsement, as each of these leaders is a quality environmental leader. Both are opposed to the Tesoro Savage Oil Terminal. As a city council member, Topper voted to ban any future fossil fuel terminals in the city. Stonier voted to authorize a carbon emissions reduction study and has opposed efforts to weaken I937 (the state’s clean energy initiative). Both support mass transit and urban sprawl reduction.
