The Legislative Committee defines Washington Chapter Legislative Priorities and coordinates the state Chapter involvement in the Washington state legislative process.
The committee directs the work of the Chapter lobbyist at the State Capitol, formulates policy for the Legislative session as adopted by the Executive and Conservation Committees, and informs membership about important issues. In addition, the committee maintains a legislative tracker for following the progress of key bills through the legislature. The committee provides input to the Chapter Political Committee to help in evaluating Legislators' voting records and determining Club endorsements.
