Welcome to the Sierra Club Teton Group

Our Group covers Teton, Lincoln, and parts of Fremont and Sublette counties. With over 70 outings per year, the Teton Group helps people enjoy and learn about the wonderful landscapes and wildlife of northwestern Wyoming. Our mission is to explore, protect and preserve these wonderful places for all to enjoy today and in the future. Our areas of interest include protecting and preserving wild lands and wildlife in our community, national forests and national parks for all.

We urge you to become a member or renew your membership today.  We also invite you to get involved and we welcome your donations to support our important work.

Solar Program

The Sierra Club Wyoming Chapter is thrilled to announce our new partnership with Creative Energies of Lander.  We are proud to be partnered with Creative Energies, a local renewable energy company that offers high quality, affordable solar products.

There are three important parts of our new solar program:

  1. Our new website, wysierraclubsolar.org explains the entire program and how to sign up for a free site assessment and quote.
  2. Creative Energies will present free, educational residential solar installation workshops at Sierra Club meetings (which will be open to the public) in several communities in Wyoming. (You do not need to attend a workshop to take advantage of this program.)
  3. Through this program only, Creative Energies will offer Sierra Club Wyoming Chapter members an up to $1,000 discount on a typical home solar system! By working with us to reduce marketing expenses to our members, Creative Energies is able to offer tremendous savings off their already lowest in the region pricing!

Through this initiative, Sierra Club Wyoming Chapter can guarantee our members and supporters the most affordable solar installation options currently available in Wyoming. This program is creating local jobs, supporting a local solar business and local families, and each project leads Wyoming one step closer to a sustainable clean energy future.
