Big budget action today! Tune in and watch the Texas Senate Finance Committee deliberate and receive testimony on several key agencies, like TCEQ, Railroad Commission, Texas Water Development Board, Texas Parks & Wildlife, and more.
Our Conservation Director, Cyrus Reed (pictured below doing a West Wing-style walk-and-talk with me), is pulling double duty at today's hearing, delivering comments on the budget (SB 1) for the TCEQ and Railroad Commission. Written testimony will be submitted on the Texas Water Development Board from our Water Resources Program Chair, Ken Kramer, and Conservation Chair Evelyn Merz will be there to speak about the importance of more funding Texas Parks & Wildlife.
