The Sierra Club is a democratically run organization, with an all-volunteer board of 15 directors elected by its members. Each spring, five candidates are elected for a three-year term. Distinct from Chapter and Regional Group Executive Committees, who are also elected by Sierra Club members, the Sierra Club (national) Board of Directors will soon hold its 2019 election. The Lone Star Chapter recommends a vote for Patrick Murphy, Oliver Bernstein, and Dave Scott in the upcoming election for the Sierra Club’s Board of Directors.
