We’re Hiring! Lone Star Chapter Seeks Clean Energy Distributed Organizer

We're hiring

The Sierra Club Lone Star Chapter is looking to hire an experienced and passionate organizer to advocate for and help plan clean energy campaigns. Under the direction of the Conservation Program Director, the Clean Energy Distributed Organizer will work in collaboration with Chapter and National staff, as well as volunteers, and members of the public to build support for a just transition to 100% clean energy. Several cities across the country have made a plan to transition to 100% renewable energy. Now, we’re mobilizing in communities across Texas to build a network of clean energy activists across the state.

The transition of cities will require significant support and the very close involvement of communities and the public. To do this we need a knowledged organizer with a deep understanding and experience in renewable energy, advocacy, and public policy centered in social equity.
