2022 Texas Environmental Awards

The Sierra Club Lone Star Chapter’s 2022 Environmental Awards dinner will take place Saturday, Nov. 12, from 6:30 - 9 p.m. at Casa Chapala, 9041 Research Blvd, Ste. 100, in Austin. And you can buy tickets here.

We’re thrilled to announce the winners of this year’s Texas Environmental Awards. From storytelling and community organizing to deep-dive reporting on environmental justice and paving the way for Texas labor’s journey into tackling climate change, the notable work of this year’s winners represents some of the best in Texas environmentalism.

Texas State Representative Gina Hinojosa, a climate champion for our state, will be our keynote speaker. The buffet-style dinner will include vegetarian options. And what would a Texas celebration be without live music?
