Molly Rooke

Since her childhood (when she enjoyed school paper drives, cleaning up litter, and collecting bottles for deposits and reuse) Molly has been into conservation, enjoying the outdoors, learning about nature, and protecting natural habitats.

Molly has been a volunteer with the Dallas Sierra Club as an environmental activist and advocate since 1989 when she saw a need for much better recycling in Dallas and dove in to help make that happen. In addition to years of working on recycling issues, Molly has served on the Conservation/Eco Action Committee on issues including Clean Air, Responsible Trade, Climate Change and Green Schools. She's also had leadership positions and been active in electoral and legislative activities for the Sierra Club, helping elect candidates who will support environmental issues.
