The Sierra Club was joined by Paul Zabriskie of Capstone Community Action and Linda McGinnis, a fellow at the Vermont Energy Action network about incentivizing electric vehicles for low-income Vermonters. Paul chatted about the Mileage Smart program, which helps low-income Vermonters buy used hybrids or electric vehicles. Linda talked about the proposed Replace Your Ride Program and how to get people out of older, inefficient vehicles and help those who can't afford new electric vehicles explore transportation alternatives. Both of these programs are slated to be included in this year's Vermont Transportation Bill. Recorded March 17, 2021.
