Sierra Club Groups are local affiliates of the Virginia State Chapter. Groups offer a wide variety of opportunities to explore, enjoy and protect our environment with a local and regional focus. Eleven Groups hold regular meetings, participate in advocacy to protect local natural resources, and sponsor outings that include backpacking, hiking, caving, bicycling and service opportunities.
