Yesterday, our Tar Sands Team cheered on our lawyers and the Bad River Band during opening arguments in our case challenging Enbridge’s dangerous Line 5 pipeline. This week, our Wildlife & Lands Team is gearing up for Public Lands Month in September—stay tuned for big announcements!
Our Water Team is busy planning their next “Lunch and Learn” event, and our Coal to Clean Energy Team is hard at work accelerating Wisconsin’s clean energy transition, while our Transportation Team pushes for more transit opportunities.
Every week, these dedicated Teams fight to stop the worst impacts of climate change, safeguard Wisconsin’s lands and wildlife, and ensure that when you turn on the tap, your water is safe to drink.
And this week, they are asking you to support them.
We’re kicking off our annual team fundraising campaign—the one time each year our Teams set bold goals and ask their friends, family, and fellow Sierrans to step up. Whether it’s $5, $25, or $50, your gift will help them protect our climate and environment.

The challenges are big, but our community is bigger. Part of that community is the generous sponsors who have provided a “springboard” to get the teams started. Can you help them get over the finish line?
With unprecedented attacks on our public lands and climate progress this year, we’re raising the bar—combining this campaign with our annual Locally Grown, Nationally Known program and setting our biggest goal yet: $20,000 to power our critical work. Mark your calendar for September 9 to celebrate Wisconsin’s special places.
