The Sierra Club is a national organization which is dedicated to Enjoying, Exploring and Protecting the planet. It is the oldest, largest, and most influential grassroots environmental organization in the United States.

Your local Northeast Florida Group has over 5,000 members & supporters in Duval, St. John's, and Northeast Clay Counties. We organize and participate in outdoor adventures, environmental education, and local environmental activities while also lobbying our local and state government for pro-environmental policy and legislation. We hope you join us sometime!

As this session unfolds, we are starting to see a troubling pattern. Lawmakers are looking for every way possible to hand over public and conservation lands to the highest bidder. Whether it’s making it easier to strip protections from conservation lands, opening state lands to private cattle grazing, or allowing large landowners to develop with minimal oversight, the message is the same: public lands are being treated like commodities.

We cannot allow Florida’s most treasured natural resources to be sold off to wealthy donors and political insiders.
