This year, we are proud to honor the Board of Directors of the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (Midpen) for their visionary leadership in land conservation and public access.

For more than half a century, Midpen has worked tirelessly to preserve a regional greenbelt, protecting the natural beauty and ecological integrity of our mountains, foothills, and baylands. Over the years, these preserves have become among the most cherished destinations for our Sierra Club hiking community, offering a direct connection to wildlands within minutes of our homes.
