Welcome to the Loma Prieta Chapter of the Sierra Club!
Welcome! The mission of the Loma Prieta Chapter of the Sierra Club is to protect and restore the natural environment and the health of our communities by safeguarding biodiversity, rapidly transitioning from fossil fuels to clean energy, preventing pollution of our air, water, and land, and supporting a healthy environment for all. We pursue this mission through advocacy, community collaborations, grassroots organizing, education, litigation, and a strong, local outings program that helps people explore and enjoy nature. Last, but not least, we are firmly committed to an organizational structure that enables us to remain independent and guided by our core environmental values rather than by the agendas of special interest groups.
