About Bucks County Ready for 100
Bucks County is an area rich in the art o
f using the land smartly. Either as a farm or as a local tile museum, the ways mother nature is revered here in Bucks County is countless. Currently, a few of the 54 townships are interested in transitioning to renewable resources and energy efficient technology with new and more support every day!
The Ready for 100 Bucks group is officially up and running! Please see below for some new content that may be useful to you as you think about what you will be doing within your own communities.

On November 6, 2019, Doylestown Township Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) met with supportive neighbors. The presentation by Jim Baldasarre can be found here. Several people asked for the sample resolution for Doylestown's committment to Ready for 100; that can be found here.
On September 19, 2019, the Sierra Club's Southeastern PA Group and Doylestown Township Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) hosted an information session and kick-off meeting for the Bucks County Ready for 100 campaign. Attendees learned about how Ready for 100 is making great progress in Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties. And that one in 4 Americans now live in communities that have committed to make this happen. We can make the change in our region. There are no technical barriers to clean renewable energy. The only barrier is our attitude!

How can you be of service? Attend an event, spread the message via social media, begin practicing green efforts in your own household, such as adding rooftop solar to your home, or send our message to your local officials.
