Encourage school districts to purchase clean energy
Continue to improve existing trail, sidewalk, and bike lane networks
Encourage sustainability plans of local businesses
Locate bus storage yards/sheds properly to optimize daily trips
Create and implement mobility alternatives programs
Encourage carpooling, walking, or biking by providing dedicated parking spots, bike racks
Use B20 biodiesel (contains 20% vegetable-based fuel component)
Introduce veggie-diesel into fuel usage; collect from local eateries and install a secondary tank for the veggie diesel
 
 
 
Host a "walk to school" and/or "bike to school" day
