The Cumberland Chapter is involved in many conservation issues including work to promote and improve: water quality, air quality, wilderness preservation, environmentally sound forest management, safe and healthy food production, local and sustainable agriculture practices, local business, waste reduction and safe disposal, the development of clean energy solutions, protection of endangered species and balanced ecosystems, education of our youth and the general public on environmental issues and natural areas to explore in Kentucky, and more.
