Great day to explore by bike the future Connecticut River Bike Corridor. A few friends, including Vermont State Representative John Bartholomew, joined the Sierra Club for this ride from Norwich to Thetford, to Lyme, NH, to Hanover, NH, and back to Norwich. Representative Bartholomew has introduced legislation to begin the process of designating all of the U.S. Route 5 in Vermont as a bike corridor.
We were also led by the Upper Valley E-bike Initiative's Doug Deaett, as e-bikes are a great tool to expand active transportation options.
