A big thank you to bill co-sponsors 3rd District Representative Sharice Davids and Senators Jerry Moran and Roger Marshall.

Sierra Club now supports this bill. Successful lobbying by national Sierra Club staff resulted in significant improvements to the original proposal.

The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks also backs passage of H.R. 2773 (RAWA),  which would provide an estimated $17.6 million per year to protect Kansas prairie habitats, wetlands, and forests. Because of Sierra Club's lobbying, the act now includes additional funds for non-game wildlife conservation.

Tell Representatives Tracey Mann, Jake LaTurner, and Ron Estes to support wildlife in Kansas and landowners who engage in conservation by backing Recovering America’s Wildlife Act, H.R. 2773.
