We Endorse Candidates
How Do We Choose The Candidates to Endorse?
This committee tracks how legislators vote on key bills with significant environmental impact as part of our non-partisan endorsement process. We consider the political and financial viability of each candidate and we work closely with our chapter lobbyist to evaluate candidate positions on current and proposed environmental laws and regulations.
The Legislative Tracker shows the status of bills that we support and oppose. You can use LegiScan to set up notifications when action is taken on specified bills.

Our Legislative Scorecards rate legislators based on whether they vote for or against environmental legislation we support. We endorse the Environmental Champions.
Donate to the PAC
The Kansas Chapter has a state political action committee (Kansas Sierra Club PAC) for financial support of our political advocacy.
Please be as generous as you can. There is no limit on the amount of money that can be donated to the PAC but PAC donations are not tax-deductible. Kansas campaign finance law does limit how much the PAC can give to candidates in any election cycle. We report all contributions and expenses as required by Kansas campaign finance law.
