Meet veteran river rat and former Johnson County Manager Hannes Zacharias. In the last 50 years, he's made two solo kayak trips down the length of the Arkansas River. Now he's ready for a new adventure to publicize the plight of our Kansas waterways and the impacts of the Ark on adjacent towns and farmland.
