Become a Weed Warrior - Free Invasive Training!
The Weed Warriors of Carroll County offer free training sessions on the identification and removal of invasive exotic weeds. Participants need not be from Carroll County.
Sponsoring organizations: Catoctin Sierra Club, Carroll County Forest Conservancy District Board, and Carroll County Master Gardeners
Who: Adults and children of middle school age or older.
What: Training consists of a one-hour online training session to take at home, followed by 2 to 3 hours of field training. Students earn service learning hours.
How: To enroll, please RSVP to ccforestryboard@gmail.com with your preferred date and we will send you the registration form and instructions for accessing the online training.
