Thousands of us in Maryland joined hundreds of thousands at the Women's March on Washington. Others supported protesters at the inauguration on Friday. There is a hard road ahead, but we are rolling up our sleeves to defend environmental justice and human rights. What we do right here in Maryland will be critical. Take Action in Annapolis for a Cleaner, Healthier Environment
February 20th Lobby Night

Join over 100 Sierra Club members and supporters in Annapolis for our annual Lobby Night, Monday evening, February 20 (5 to 8 pm). Meet with your legislators to support passage of the Sierra Club's priority environmental bills. Our legislative team will arrange the meetings and will brief you about our bills. Override Governor Hogan's
renewable energy veto NOW!

The Clean Energy Jobs Act Veto Override will be voted on Thursday! The House of Delegates and Senate are looking override Governor Hogan's ill-advised veto from last May. If you haven't already, fill out our action alert at sierraclub.org/maryland to tell your legislators to support more renewable energy NOW!
