The Maryland Chapter's Executive Committee has approved the timeline for the 2026 Chapter and Group Executive Committee (ExCom) elections:
- Sept. 13 - Last day for candidates to turn in campaign statements & photos to their Nominating Committee (NomCom).
- Sept. 21 - NomComs report nominees to their ExCom, inform candidates if not nominated.
- Oct. 5 - Deadline for candidates to submit a nomination by petition to the Election Committee (ElecCom).
- Oct. 23 - Voter rolls are established based on active memberships. (Those who become members on or after this date aren't eligible to vote in this year's election.)
- Oct. 31 - Election opens.
- Dec. 4 - Last day of elections. (All electronic and mailed ballots must be received by this date.)
- Dec. 12 - Deadline for ElecCom to notify candidates, ExCom Chairs, & NomComs of results.
