Earth Month is filled with opportunities to get out and enjoy the great outdoors, connect with environmental groups at tabling events, and volunteer to make the world a better place. There are festivals across the state, reminding us that we have only one planet that we call home and we have to do our part to keep it healthy. This year for Earth Month take the time to get outside and speak with fellow volunteers of the Sierra Club by joining us at an Earth Month event.
North Central Group held their annual cleanup on March 29th along Rt 15 and a vernal pool discussion on April 1st. They will be at three separate tabling events this Earth Month; Sunbury Earth Day at Cameron Park on April 19th, the Bloomsburg University festival on April 22nd, and the Joy to the Earth event on April 26th at the Selinsgrove Commons.
