Thank you for being a Sierra Club member, volunteer leader and/or environmental action taker.
Sierra Club has a resource that you may not be familiar with - called MyAccount. Here’s why you should create a password and log in, if you haven’t already. If you pay your membership online, you already have an account, but there are so many more features to peruse. You can:
- Select which emails you want to get from Sierra Club entities
- Vote in Volunteer Leader elections (new this year)
- Update your contact information (email address, mailing address, phone)
- Get help with your membership and more
You can find the MyAccount link on the national Sierra Club home page here.
If you don’t already have a password set up for MyAccount, you can do that by hitting Create Account … or if you think you already have, but don’t remember your password, hit the Forgot Password link.
Once you are logged into MyAccount you will see a menu like this:
The Communication Preferences is the place to adjust your email preferences. See what your current subscriptions are and change the ones you don’t like:
And choose which topics of interest you want to hear about. Stay informed, but only about the topics you care about.
Additionally, MyAccount is where members will come to vote for volunteer leaders at the Chapter and Group level. Learn more here.
