Exciting news! Governor Moore appointed Josh Tulkin, Sierra Club Maryland Director to the Transportation Commission on Revenue and Infrastructure Needs. The Transportation Commission on Revenue and Infrastructure Needs was established by SB 24 to explore ways the state can generate revenue for transportation projects and recommended practices for prioritizing transportation needs, including legislative and local priorities. The appointment of Commission members is for two years from July 1, 2023. The commission will issue an interim report on its findings by January 2024 and a final report by January 2025. The Commission consists of state and local government leaders as well as representatives from transportation, industry, business, labor, and environmental organizations.
